<font color="#000088">That's got to be really frustrating. I can see why your so mad about it. I mean it takes so long for you to wait for your package to arrive in the first place. Then your really looking forward to getting what you ordered. And then when it comes, this happens! I can understand you're anger in this situation, I'd be pretty pissed to.
But I think you did the right thing by contacting Amazon, about replacing the damaged books, after all, they were not secured properly for weather damage, with the plastic being torn. So they should take responsibility for that. But if they haven't returned your e-mail soon, I'd keep at it. And I agree about the Postal Service taking some responsibility for it, being that the package itself was damaged on the outside as well. They do have plastic protective bags for rainy days, or they could have rang your door bell, or knocked! I'm sorry this has happened to your books, and I hope you are able to get them replaced with new ones soon, and don't have to wait too long!
