Sometimes I think exactly like you - people don't care, or maybe they just don't care about me. I think the truth is - we are stuck in a world of people that only understand things if they have personally been affected by it and if they haven't they don't care to try to understand - and since you and I both have something referred to as "mental illness" - until those people are touched by it (and the exact same kind I might add) they will avoid as much contact as possible. Not out of lack of care, but out of fear. Sometimes the sense of fear trumps that of love.
