I must admit I was practically addicted to Lego when I was little.

I had a huge amount. I always got sets for my birthday/Christmas & built them but inevitably they'd get put in one of my three boxes mixed up with everything else. Trying to remember what sets I had... Space Shuttle, Star Wars Naboo Fighter to name a couple.

Mostly I just made random fortresses & aircraft etc.

I am somewhat loathed that I had grown out of Lego by the time Lord of the Rings films appeared. I see you can Helm's Deep set, Tower of Orthanc, Mines of Moria, The Council of Elrond etc. Not to mention of course The Hobbit sets now!

Some of them are exorbitantly expensive though.

Still, however tempting it is to relive my youth & get a complete LotR Lego set... I think I'll pass.
