I am doing something for therapy and came up with a very low estimate of the number of hours of therapy I have had in the last 20 years (there was more before that but I don't remember the frequency or even exactly the years). It works out to 44 days and since many months of that time I've been seen twice a week really would be even more.

That is a lot of therapy. I guess I should be very glad for my discounted rate or that would be $100,000 worth of therapy and then another huge amount of psychiatry (which is really another 1-2 hours of therapy per month).

Those figures astound me. So much time and money (even at the discount rate)....
