With hospitals sometimes it's more of a staff concensus. Where I work we have a staff meeting and we discuss cases, sometimes even if the doctor doesn't give an official PD diagnosis for whatever reason we might talk to the patient about it if it might be beneficial to their treatment. Someone told me that staff another hospital just told her she was "borderline" and not even what it meant or why. It was never actually put on a treatment plan as a diagnosis.

Oh, interesting. I wonder. I guess they wrote it down somewhere because the clinician looked like she was reading it out loud when I was in her office. I still don't know what to make of it. Thank you.
