I don't think that confronting the abuser necessarily makes things better. If those people abused you then, they sure aren't going to fess up to it and make you feel better now.
This is something you are going to have to receive therapy for. It is not cheap if you don't have the insurance coverage, but there may be some low cost clinics in your area too. Try doing a google search or contact a local therapist and ask them for suggestions.
I noticed you responded to one of my posts and I am sorry if that triggered you. I try to put the "Trigger" symbol next to the title if I think that might happen. Look for those and maybe pass them up if you think it might be an issue for you.
