I took SAM-e quite a few years ago with terrific results. There was quite a problem at that time with inconsistent potency between batches, though. It's supposed to be a lot better now but can still be a problem sometimes.
I'd take a 30 day supply with obvious good effect, then as soon as I switched to a new package, it wouldn't work. I got frustrated and went back to Zoloft.
I would recommend SAM-e for mild depression and L-theanine for mild anxiety.
