Another thread on here about mood swings got me wondering... the Lamictal I take has stopped the automatic mood cycling and I've been pretty stabile. But, I also experience what I call "normal" moods from normal emotions, but I can't tell if it's me or from an other part bleeding through.

As you all mostly know as its typed into my signature, I have others (called emotional parts) and some of their core essenses are based on the emotions they contain, like I got an angry alter, a depressed alter, a super happy alter, etc... and they are very, very strong if presenting. They even "bleed" through when nearly triggered causing adverse body reactions, but when they go back in, it's back to being stabile.

So my question is, do you still experience "normal" moods or are you pretty much flat stabile from the meds that you are taking?

I don't know if this is normal or if it is because of the others. It really doesn't make a difference one way or another, it's just a want to know thing. Thanks!

Okay, I want to add that this is how we "feel". Like, if an emotional other presents when triggered, I just "watch" as it does their thing- sometimes it's horrific like when The Angry One presents and you are helpless but to watch him scream, yell, cuss, break stuff....then left with a mess to clean up, hurt feelings, and embarrassment.
