oh my goodness. It is good you have reached out. You have a world of support here. Many of us will hold out our hands of condolence.

Have you heard of the 5 senses strategy? It gives you something for your whole body to concentrate on and offers an instant destraction as well as is quite comforting. Find something you can concentrate each sense on. Touch something: fabic, stone, even a bag of wheat or beans. Smell something: open a container of coffee. Taste something. Look at something and noting every curve and corner. Listen to something: music or shake that bag of beans or container of coffee.

Were you close to your grandfather? Can you think of and celebrate some calming memories?
