Or, have you recently changed your PsychCentral theme (Desert Sand, Tulip, etc.), and/or maybe started using a different browser? I don't know for sure but it's possible that some combination may make the checkmarks less visible. For instance I use the standard PsychCentral theme because I have noticed that in some of the other themes less of the emojis show up, and I don't want to misunderstand anyone, by not seeing an emoji meant to signify sarcasm or something.
