I got approved for SSDI really quickly. It only took 3 months. BUT according to whatever psych documentation they reviewed, they decided I'm not capable of managing my money and it has to be handled by either my mom or an attorney. I'm not sure if there are any fees if I go through an attorney. My mom controls my whole life right now and I don't think I can mentally handle having to ask her to dole out money for my bills and gas. Why is it always two steps forward, one step back?
