Please accept my condolences. Losing someone we love is never easy, but the grief and sadness that accompany loss are *normal*. Allow yourself all the time you need to mourn, and try not to pathologize those feelings. It's not always about the illness, although sorrow can become so overwhelming that it touches off an episode. But sometimes, grief is just grief.
