I have a rep payee but it's more of a formality. That is he pretty much hands over my entire check (direct deposit) en toto. He has to fill out paperwork saying where my money has gone every year I think. I am responsible though and pay my bills, nothing wrong going on here. I was told that if there is anything drug relying your files (drug use, drug abuse) then they'll use that as a reason for a rep payee. I had multiple suicide attempts using medications.
