Okay...I guess part of the reason I'm puzzled is that I thought Thanksgiving was about giving thanks FOR someone/something, not thanking people, which seems to be the intent of the thread/poll.

"Do you give thanks for your therapist at Thanksgiving?" is a different question from "Do you thank your therapist at Thanksgiving?" (I actually don't do either, but they're not the same.)
