Do you feel something bad may happen if you fail to do these actions?
I don't discount your depression. What I wonder though is what is triggering the happier thoughts and upswings? What suddenly makes you feel good? What if you were to use 'association' to remain grounded?

Your first paragraph makes so much sense. And yes, I think if I don't, something in particular will happen ( won't mention what it is here, but something I'd rather avoid because it's embarrassing and whatnot).
I am not sure what you mean by association. However the ups and down usually seem to coincide with what I don't want to happen, sometimes it maybe something else.
Honestly the past few days I've felt more stable regarding the ups and downs.
Thanks for your insight!!
