The last time I had to admit to a Psychologist I was in danger from myself was 2012. I had to tell my GP first and he rushed me into emergency Counselling.

All I can advise is that you talk a few deep breaths and lay it out as calmly as you possibly can. That's what I did, told him how I wanted to be addressed then laid it on the line. He wasn't shocked, nor taken aback, we just started dealing with my many issues straight away.

If you feel you cannot voice the words, write them down and pass them to your Therapist. Explain it's too hard to say it out loud.

Whatever you do, remember your Therapist is there to listen and help you get to the root cause and overcome your issues. Stay calm and express yourself well, think of us all supporting you.
