I can sympathize, i have social anxiety too. It can be difficult. I found it easier to do things along side others in a group, as opposed to doing things with them directly. Martial arts, bingo, and going to the library mostly. Or crafts things. But out in the bush they are rare. Currently all of my social fulfillment is online, don't fall into the same trap. Lol.
maybe find things you can enjoy doing alongside others too, idk what's in your area, but painting, gardening, walking a dog, maybe even volunteering might help fulfill this without too much triggering?
