My T is quite good at remembering things. She apologized profusely the other day when she got two of my relatives confused--and these are people I rarely talk about, so I wouldn't expect her to remember who everyone is. I've also been seeing her for 4 years, so that could be part of it.

My marriage counselor is generally pretty good, though he's told us the same stories a few times or used the same analogies (granted, we have been seeing him 2 years, so I guess he only has so much material!). The worst was this one slide show on successful people on the autism spectrum (my daughter is likely on the spectrum) that he's tried to break out like 3 or 4 times now over the past year or two, as if it's some brilliant idea he had to share and make me feel better. He finally got it though and joked about it the last time the topic came up. He seems good at remembering stuff about H and I (and our daughter) though, at least!
