My current therapist uses cbt and I've been really happy with how it's helped my anxiety. There's one specific phobia that I've had my entire life and no therapist has ever made a difference with it until now. The phobia isn't gone but it's not ruining my life anymore. I haven't really used it much for Bp yet dice my diagnosis is new but there have been myriad studies on the effectiveness of cbt, especially with medication. So I'd say it's worth a shot for you.
