If you feel in imminent danger, please do as Iris says and call Emergency Services.

While you are fighting these feelings 'for your family' do seek help from a Therapist. I have been in the same position as you regarding how my family would cope - I lost all my Real Life friends when I became disabled - and the only thing that pulled me back was emergency Psychologist intervention. People, and the right meds, can help in the Darkest of circumstances.

Do try to ignore what your friends feel and say, those who are not trained or who have not experienced what we go through often have little true understanding of how desperate and debilitating it can be. Concentrate, instead, on the positive feelings you have for your family.

Dave.
