Hello speedshoes: Hm-m-m-m... I don't know about this. Personally, I'm always hungry! I watch my weight very closely & keep myself at the low end of the normal BMI range for my height & gender. This means that I can't eat anywhere near what I could consume if I would allow myself to. As a result, I'm always hungry. I have taught myself to ignore this. I weigh myself every day, & eat in accordance with where the scale tells me I'm at. If I'm at a good weight, I know I can eat a bit more. If I've put on a pound, I cut back.
Might your condition have some sort of physiological basis, as opposed to a psychological one? Whether this is something that can, or should, be treated is something I do not know. Perhaps there will be some other members, here on PC, that have encountered similar difficulties who will share their experiences. My best wishes to you...
