That's odd! If they freeze your account what happens to your money? That's your money they can't freeze it. I had no problem in the U.S. either. I actually had a credit card account with the bank that my checking account was in and the credit card was part of my bankrupcy. I thought they might kick me out for my checking but they didn't.

Talk to your receiver about this because I can't see how it's legal?
