The experience of being attacked and abused by a Psychologist broke 15 years of self-control and self-strengthening, supported by a GREAT GP and meds. The damage is deep and permanent. This behaviour followed closely the breaking of Trust by a long-term Therapist.

I believe I was unlucky to come across two so-called Professionals, I believe Therapy has a strong and valid place in helping people with Issues, but it should always be remembered the Therapist is the Employee. They are paid to assist us, by us. If we do not like the treatment or behaviour we have the power not to return and to go elsewhere. I never returned after one Session, but the irrepairable damage is done.

Choose your Therapist/Psychologist with care, healing and harm can be meted out in equal measure.
