Hi,
My psychiatrist prescribed thorozine for me when I was going to have my neck fusion surgery to calm me down. I ended up staying on it after that...don't know exactly why but I did. It ended up that I had a parkisnon's effect from taking that with compozine which was terrifying. That was when I was put onto seroquel. I was taking it 25mg 3 x/day. I really never felt anything, which for me is unusual because I always have side effects to almost every med. I took it for almost 4 years, & one day, I just decided to stop all my meds except for my migraine med. I had no withdrawal when I stopped taking it either. I was stupid the other day & was trying to find some way to escape my stress chest pain. I took a few (more than 3) after not taking it for months. It relaxed my so much that I slept for hours, which was interesting since I didn't feel anything before.

The effects are body dependent, and even that depends on where your body is at when the med is taken
