When you were at school, did you carry a lunch box? If so, was it a theme box?

I was at boarding school for the bulk of my school career which meant no lunch boxes but queues for a stale brown bread sandwhich. Before that I used to get my sandwhich wrapped in cling film. I will never forget being the victim of a bully when I was just little and having my sandwhich squished beyond redemption. Sigh!

My step daughter has a gazillion Bratz (ugh!) and various Princess-type lunch boxes ... (NOT my doing!)

I would love to treat my son to a superhero lunch box but being almost 10 years old, he finds it embarrassing So he has plain tupperware.
