Oh my, yes -- picking out my lunchbox was the best part of back to school shopping!!! Way better than getting new clothes.

I was a Peanuts freak, so I often had Peanuts ones. I believe I may have had a Barbie one. One year I had Land of the Lost (a cheesy '70s kids Saturday morning show).

I remember getting lemon-lime Hawaiian Punch or Koolaid or something in my thermos and everybody gagging at the antifreeze-green color (this was before Mountain Dew ).
