Much of my wife's & my lives, nowadays, pretty-much revolve around our miniature schnauzer / poodle mix, Joey. We've had him for around 10 years now. We adopted him from a rescue organization when he was about 2 or 3 years old.

Prior to adopting Joey we had a cockapoo named Molly. She became suddenly & unexpectedly ill & died around the age Joey is now. Yesterday, Joey suddenly & unexpectedly became ill. We spent today with him at the University of Minnesota Small Animal Veterinary Center. They checked him out & didn't seem too concerned. They gave us some medication for him.

This evening, Joey won't eat anything... even hamburger & rice. He's showing symptoms similar to those we saw in Molly before she died. If Joey dies, we will be devastated...
