I think Depakote is a good call. Fast-acting, a strong stabilizer. I had to power through a few weeks of Akathisia for both Abilify and Latuda. 3-4 weeks of bad leg stuff at night, but it was worth it - high calories at bedtime helped, esp deli turkey and chocolate ovaltine.

Are you drinking or using street drug at all? These can make nearly all meds ineffective.
