Unrequited love is difficult to handle, and more difficult to advise on. Is it worth the risk of the loss of a good friendship should he not feel the same way?

As for the friend who almost kissed you, are you sure his feelings have not changed and his interests switched from your gf to you? Now this one you could ask, in private, what the 'almost kiss' was about.

Above everything, protect your own feelings and remember that Depression makes rejection, or negative actions in life, hurt harder and deeper.
