I take Olanzapine (Zyprexa) for agitation and Clonazepam for anxiety. For me when I'm very agitated benzo's just don't cut it. Distraction is another good technique I use along with mindfulness but it is esp hard to be mindful when my thoughts are racing so I take the meds at that point.
