I'm trying to decide if I should return to work tomorrow. I don't think I'm contagious anymore, but am afraid of causing myself to relapse. Anyone have any suggestions?
I have several concerns
- I'm prone to pushing myself too hard, too soon. I do that, then make myself even sicker.
- We have quotas at work. I'm not going to meet this months numbers even if I go back to work tomorrow. Since I met my quota plus extras the last few months I should be okay overall. BUT I've been warned that if I don't make my numbers for the year my position could be in danger.
Ideas anyone?

Can you afford to stay out a few more days? I would recommend it simply because you aren't actually well yet. You might not be contagious anymore but if you're consistently coughing, you won't be as productive. Others will notice the coughing and might be worried for you and themselves. =(
I also think you might end up making yourself more ill too. Overall though, I do think that you know yourself better than all of us. So do what you feel is right. I hope you get to feeling better sooner rather than later.
