I have a feeling I'll be writing this same post a few months from now. I left my job as a training manager back in August due to the high stress. (I ended up in partial hospitalization as a result.) But my unemployment will run out end of January and I am dreading getting a job of any kind. Some days I can't even function.

Luckily, my husband is on board with me going part-time, but I will be making less than a quarter of what I was making as a manager. Part-time jobs are hard to come by and usually don't pay more than like $10/hour.

I think it's frustrating that it is so difficult to get disability for mental illness. Especially when I have friends and relatives who are barely injured who get it no problem.

I hope you're able to find a way to work part-time so that you can take care of yourself. I know you need the money, but you also need to take care of yourself. So maybe keep looking for a part-time job so you don't have to stay where you are for the long term. You know what your limits are and it sounds like working full-time is pushing those limits too far.
