How extensive is the connection between government and business. I got a letter today from Tx DPS. They want to know why they don't have knowledge of me having insurance on my truck.
The reason I don't have ins on my truck is because it isn't mine anymore. I sold it 6 months ago. But it could just as easily be that I dropped coverage because the engine blew up and I couldn't afford to have it repaired. It could be that I just decided not to drive it anymore. My question is how does DPS know I don't have insurance. Do they require an ins company to notify them whenever coverage is dropped? This is something that will probably be easy to straighten out but I don't like the implications. Just ranting here I suppose.
