I'm dealing with Calif DMV with the car I own in my name I left there for my husband to drive. Refused to put it in his name. It quit running..he insisted that I had the title paper here..I didn't even come here with my birth certificate I wouldn't have brought a title to a car that I left in calif. arguments for years about the title. But it can't be scrapped without the title. Went to get a duplicate title & they said I didn't have the right paperwork...but come to fine out ex shredded the right paperwork. Car is still sitting in the driveway unable to run. I live 2100 miles away & DMV is impossible to deal with over the phone & ex is incompetent when it comes to dealing with issues like this. I understand your frustrations. It's on my list to get cleared up so I can get the scrap money..not going to give him a cent of it considering what a jerk he's been about the title from the beginning.

Lol...the change of address form assumes the change of the car location also but not the case in this situation...dumb forms on top of everything else
