Im confused what do you mean option for next of kin. do you mean like facebook if a relative proves their relationship to a recently deceased facebook member, facebook with give access (provide the password that person used for their account) so that the relatives can enter that facebook account, and remove the photos and other personal stuff about that person, carry on posting in that facebook members name?

my opinion on this is if someone wants their relatives to come on facebook after they have died all they really have to do is provide that next of kin with their user name and password and say if anything happens to me can you go on here and let them know what happened to me.
