I know here in the US unless you have a court order, you cannot be forced to come in.

However professionals such as doctors, psychologists, teachers, child care providers and possibly clergy( among others)
are mandated reporters who must turn you in if you are believed to be a danger to yourself or someone else. This includes suspected child/elder abuse.

However HIPPA laws prevent them from discussing your medical information with anyone who you haven't provided written permission, with the exception of the above ( or a court order) and anonymous statistics to agencies such as the cdc.

Unless there is a court order, or someone is in danger, I wouldn't talk to them.
