I hear ya man, I've just gone through a serious cancer diagnosis in my family and the doctor told my family member "you're cured, but you should still see an oncologist to see if you need chemo". Talk about mixed messages, sounds like your doctor is similar with not having a concrete answer for you. "probably" is not a word you want to hear when it comes to your health.
