I had to take Dobby to the vet today. He's been getting in the litter box, squatting and not doing anything for several days. I didn't think he had a crystal blocking him because he hasn't acted sick. Just getting in the box a lot. He has a UTI which is what I thought was going on. The vet gave him an antibiotic injection. He should start feeling better soon.

She, the vet, asked about Krissy. I said the sore is healing, but he's about to run out of antibiotic. She was going to call in a new script. She said we might have to keep giving him the antibiotic for a couple of months or more. Fine by me if it helps him heal. Not only is the sore healing, he is not digging at it with his back foot. Dare I hope this mess might finally clear up?

I talked to the vet about Mikey's asthma. She'd given me some pills to try. Can't remember what the med was. Didn't do a thing to help. She gave (sold) me some steriods today. We'll see if this helps. Next step is to use an inhaler. I pulled my inhaler out of my pocket and asked if that was what she was talking about. Sure 'nuf! Some genius invented a mask that fits over the cat's muzzle. You attach the inhaler and puff. The cat inhales the med. I guess Mikey and I can use out inhalers at the same time if the pills don't work. I popped his first pill down his throat tonight. Mikey can be very opinionated about what people are allowed to do to him and what they aren't. Thankfully he is good about taking pills.
