omegalamed, Krissy and Mikey are both a bout a year and a half old. Dobby is 5. I'm so sorry for what you and Lucy went through.I have a very good, honest vet. As an example, some vets would have made me bring Mikey in for another exam before they gave me the steroids. She went ahead and sold me the med without making me bring him in again. She would tell me if it was time to put one of them down.
RomanSunburn, I'm really hoping I don't have to use the inhaler muzzle. Mikey is being good about the pills, but I doubt he will be so easy if I have to stick a mask on his face.
George, I think I'll pass on pilling your cats.  The vet gave me the option of an oral antibiotic for Dobby or they could give him a shot. I was not thrilled with having to medicate THREE cats so told her to give him the shot. As for "hours of fun" if we have to use the inhaler, we have very different definitions of "fun"! 
Yoda, I know what you mean about different animals behaving, or not, about meds. Krissy is a tiny little thing. He turns into a a two ton wild man if I try to poke a pill down his throat.
