I really wanted to quit. I was surprised at how bad I felt at first. It might have been because I was using nicotine replacement patches and gum. I felt better after I quit those, but after quitting nicotine of any kind either from nicotine gum or e cigarette you still have to go through nicotine withdrawal. Cravings don't go away in a week, or even several months. A person who wants to quit has to learn how to cope with occasional cravings, anxiety, and irritability. This can go on for months.
