what about drawing salve? ichthymmol cream? It is used to draw out splinters from wounds, and other wonderful things.

Here's a link of what you're looking for. I've used ichthymmol on myself for splinters that BROKE OFF halfway during extraction w/ tweezers, and went deeper into the skin. Worked like a charm:
