It depends on the job you are applying for. I've been asked for addresses going back if I haven't lived at my current address for at least a year. But never for all my addresses (which would need a separate page).

It may be different if you're job requires high security clearance, which would be for example those that check your fingerprints and so on.

Mine only needed to check that I wasn't a person would be likely to steal credit card information. Just a criminal background check for financial crimes, such as check or credit card fraud.
