Hello,

I'm sorry for what you've been going through at your workplace.

I understand that you are a honest person who believe in ethics and try to be a good example to your family.

Sadly, virtues like honesty and integrity seem to be nothing but words in today's world. You do well to preserve them for yourself and for your family, however... don't expect everyone else to be the same, especially at the workplace.

In my opinion, reporting your supervisor was a very naive move.

You said that the rest of the team also complained about the fact that your supervisor doesn't follow policies, but let me ask you this: did any of them stood there with you while you reported the situation? I think not. They just waited for someone to stand up and take the risk, and unfortunately, that "someone" was you.

Now that the damage is done, I'm afraid that there is little to be done to remedy the situation. All you can do is take the whole thing as a lesson, and start looking for a new job.

I understand that this is not what you wanted to hear, but given your current situation and what caused it, I can't really see any other solution.

Anyway, this is only my opinion based on what you told us; feel free to ignore it and proceed the way you see fit.

I wish you all the best for the future.
