I wake up angry sometimes, I think it's from trigger dreams and the same as you not dealing with things that make me angry in the present moment.
I noticed recently I started doing DBT in my sleep which has been quite interesting and helps me since I wake up about 4 times a night or more I've been waking up saying things like be calm you are safe and comfortable, everything is going to be okay, relax and go to sleep. Although while I am laying in bed just before I go to sleep I do EFT tapping and say DBT skills with the taps so I think it's sticking with me during the night.
