I'm glad your Dr is being very supportive. He seems to realize about the fact that things will not change over night. He can also tell that you are being honest or you wouldn't have told him the things you did. It is interesting that when we cooperate with them, they cooperate with us.

I'm sure that you have been warned about taking excessive laxitives, but I will probably be saying what you already know. When you continually take large amounts of laxitives, they stop the muscle control in the intestines, making it possible for them to quit working. Then you really have a mess. That is something you really don't want to deal with. Mine never went far enough to cause problems, but I wasn't using quite the # you are. Think about what you are doing to that part of your body & the fact that surgery for that would be most unpleasant for the rest of your life before continuing on with the laxatives.

I'm so glad he is working with you & not forcing you in your treatment. Continue the good work & you will continue to improve.
