Hi Sky!!!
I was taking Ambien a few years ago after I entered the wonderful world of " change of life"!!! I wasn't getting in too
many hours of sleep, and staying up til pre-dawn everynight
was beginning to make me a pill to live with!!! lol...............
At one of my dr. visits one day, I asked him if he could give me something to "knock" me out. I was tired of being sleepless. My nerves were frayed and I was a hairball most of the time. Anyway, he said try this....this ws Ambien.
I took it ONLY as prescribed, and it was wonderful!!! I slept
like a log........but I don't look like one anymore. hahaha.....
My husband is a mouth breather and snorer....try living like that for 30 + years and still be sane???? I had kids at home so I often slept on the couch. He's too tall for the sofa
and he works and commutes everyday. So, I took punishment. Brew-ha-ha................now I sleep in my youngest daughters room. It's MINE now. I'm no longer on Ambien, that lasted about 3 mos. and then I became addicted to it. It does have that side effect. I gradually weened myself off of it as my ins. co. wouldn't pay for it any longer. It's one of those drugs that is not supposed to be used for long term insomnia. I didn't have that....my head wouldn't turn off. Race, race, race...............busy brain. Now
that I'm properly diagnosed with Bi-polar 1, I sleep in peace
again. Still in MY OWN ROOM, though.
