Saphris got me out of a bad mixed episode and has kept me pretty stable. It's a sublingual so you stick it under your tongue and wait for it to melt. It tastes horrible, but I've found that if I keep my mouth shut for 15 mins after taking it and don't move my tongue around, not much of it gets to the top of my tongue. I've gotten used to the taste though.
