i'm currently taking lamotrigine for bipolar and elavil for depression/anxiety. these medications are helping with my mood and don't have many negative side effects so i'm planning on staying on them. however, i also have adhd and i feel like my doctor isn't paying attention to that. it's nearly impossible for me to complete tasks and that is affecting me negatively at school and work and i feel like i just can't do every day activities because i can't focus on anything. whenever i bring this up to my doctor he just tells me that medication for adhd could send me into a manic phase. i really need help with this and i don't know what to do. any advice?
