I also have a very hard time controlling my emotions. I will give you a example: this labor day my parents through a party over the weekend and my cousins pushed me in the pool for no reason nothing big just a small thing that normal people would not get made over but me I lost. I'll also sometimes get frustrated over simple and hard math problems or school work in general.
I tend not to think before acting but sometimes I do think when it comes to scary stuff but
normally I say before I think
I talk a way too much and annoy everyone around me. I also interrupt people a lot
I've bought stuff that I really didn't need before
My room is very messy it looks like a tornado just rolled through it and put everything on the ground which would be procrastination which I do way too much
I am very impatience and will switch tasks every few mins it if I do not enjoy it
I am not bounce off the walls hyper well that one I really don't know because I have been told to sit and shut up many times.
I will lose track of time if its from tv watching to playing on the internet today I wanted to surf the web for a hour look at the clock its been 2 and a half and I'm like wtf it could not have been 2 hours and half
Sometimes I talk with my hands and sometimes I talk fast
I can barely read I get 5 pages in and forget what I read on the last 4
I am very very anti social
and I talk to myself when I am home alone?
Can anyone help me?

From what you describe you definitely have all the symptoms that would consider a person with ADD. What really caught my attention is the fact that you were diagnosed with ADD at age 5 and that your parents took you off meds 2 years ago and you are now home schooled with not much success. You don't mention how old are you now so I will assume that you are in high school age since your parents took you off meds. But why did they do that? was it the negative information circulating from people who either don't have it? have a negative view of the pharmaceutical industry? or read information from these quack doctors who have no knowledge of ADD other than their "theory" on the subject? Also Scientology is responsible for spreading most of the negative information about ADD and hide behind organizations that appear to be legitimate think tanks. Scientology has had a vendetta against both the field of psychiatry and the pharmaceutical industry that goes back when L.Ron Hubbard was alive and continues to this day. Many of these quack doctors are affiliated with Scientology. Many times parents fail to take the time to educate themselves and end up listening to people that are equally uneducated.
Did the meds make a difference when you were on them? if so why did they take you off? It sounds like your parents are the ones that are lazy, not you. I would also bet that one of your parents does have it. The unfortunate thing is that you have no control over your therapy, at least not now. Your parents, sad to say, are the ones holding you back and preventing you from functioning at a somewhat normal life. There decisions will only make it difficult for you to succeed in your adult life, your already having trouble with school since being taken off your meds. You were not misdiagnosed, it's unfortunate that it has come to the point where even you are questioning your diagnoses. Bad parenting does not cause ADD, but bad parenting can destroy their childs future because of ignorance and selfishness.
