As a college student, I can testify that this is a legitimate issue here as well, possibly worse because we don't have that forced pacing ("these three rough drafts are due at these dates, each for 20% of your paper grade so if you don't do them you fail the paper" kind of thing).
Inertia is a thing. If I start by not working, then I'm likely to keep procrastinating. Like right now. I came here to take the sanity score and then work on a paper that's due at midnight. This was probably three hours ago and that paper is now due in half an hour and I haven't done a single thing with it.

Somehow I think, by changing the size and color of my signature font to something that might blend in with the background of the page from which I'm editing, that I can keep other people from really being able to see it even though I rationally know that they probably can. Apparently this is considered a cry for help.
